The name green monkey comes from a story I was told about a group of caged monkeys. As the story goes there was a cage full of monkeys and they all got along and lived in harmony. Then, one monkey was removed dyed green and returned to the cage. The green monkey was now shunned from the group just because he was green. Even though it was the same monkey as before.

I chose the name “Green Monkey Aerospace” because we are different. We’re different in the world of research rocketry hardware by choice. I couldn’t find a supplier for model rocket sized hardware. So I decided to make my own. After receiving more than a few requests to sell my personal casings I decided to start Green Monkey Aerospace. I hope you enjoy this site and our products.
